Redfish love shallow water. Its a awesome sight to see a redfish cruising in as little as 5-6 inches of water. We experience some of the most extraordinary sight fishing for redfish in the Keys. Redfish are best fished during late spring thru early fall, more specifically, May thru September.
Equipment:
- Rod: 8wt or 9wt fly rod
- Reel: Large arbor fly reel with a strong drag
- Line: floating or intermediate fly line
- Flies: We supply the flies but if you want to tie your own let us know
